Through conversations around the campfire, working in the forest, and observing wildlife, the meaning of this seemingly inconspicuous scientific work gradually unfolds. The expedition demonstrates how a multitude of measurements and observations informs an understanding of complex natural processes and the formation of scientific knowledge about the region.
